The 2018 International Multicultural Folk Festival, hosted by the Vallejo Sister City Association, will feature World Class Level performers representing the Philippines, Korea, Japan, Italy, Africa, Norway, and Mexico. The program will also feature Hawaiian dance groups and the World Famous Soprano Singer Soloist Kay Balajadia-Liggayu.

The Vallejo Sister City Commission and Association is sending a Girls Basketball and a Taekwondo Team to three of its sister cities abroad July 11 – July 27, 2018 in celebration of its anniversaries with these cities. The teams will be accompanied by Delegations from Vallejo and Councilmembers. They will travel to Akashi Japan, Jincheon South Korea and Baguio Philippines as citizen diplomats.
The City of Vallejo and Akashi Japan are celebrating 50 years of Sister City relations, 25 years with Baguio Philippines and 15 years with Jincheon South Korea. In celebration of our anniversaries we are engaging the youth of Vallejo in the mission to enhance and strengthen our relationships with our Sister Cities relative to understanding and empowering our youth for global peace and diplomacy.
