A heart-warming story of young refugee kids adapting to life in a new country (the Netherlands) under the guidance of a wonderful, caring teacher. This documentary film focuses on four refugee children of different nationalities in a Dutch elementary school. Film screening hosted by Creative Alliance, in partnership with the International Rescue Committee and Baltimore City Community College’s Refugee Youth Project. Baltimore-Rotterdam Sister City Committee will serve yummy Dutch-style stroopwafels to the audience that are made by refugees working at Stroopies.com in Lancaster.
