Global Networking Opportunities

Get connected! As you start to build and grow your sister city program, Sister Cities International's membership provides you with the right connections globally, getting you all the answers you need. Sister Cities International can connect you with the right people - foreign diplomats, U.S. Department of State officials, as well as to fellow peers from the sister cities network to ensure that you have the right connections to strengthen your program. Our Annual Directory also ensures that your city and program get the visibility they need.

Annual Membership Directory: Be featured in the Annual Directory, Sister Cities International’s flagship publication! This listing of all member cities and their partnerships is distributed to our entire network, municipal and federal governments, and the diplomatic community. Click here to view the Annual Directory.

Connect with the Diplomatic Corps: Sister Cities International works closely with the U.S. Department of State and its diplomats as well foreign embassies in the U.S. Let us connect you with the right officials and help you get the answers and support you need. Email membership@sistercities.orgfor more information.

Please note that securing embassy visits or meetings with elected officials with less than three weeks advance notice is often very difficult, and submitting requests 1-2 months in advance of your trip will increase the likelihood that they can be arranged.

Sister Cities Networking: At Sister Cities International, we believe in peer-to-peer learning. Want to host a youth exchange? Lead a business delegation? We can connect you with other experienced members for an exchange of ideas to help you find solutions. Email membership@sistercities.org to get started.
