Mamiko Reeves

Dr. Mamiko Reeves is a co-founder of Machi Training and Research, LLC (Machi). Machi specializes in education consulting fostering international collaboration and enhancing educational opportunities by connecting academic institutions across borders. Machi provides expert advice on transnational education models, helping K-12 schools and universities develop and implement programs. Additionally, Machi offers a variety of short-term programs designed to provide immersive, cross-cultural educational experiences. Their services are tailored to support the unique needs of each client, ensuring successful and sustainable international partnerships in the education sector.

Mamiko served as the International Strategist and the Assistant Vice President of Free Market Partnerships and International Programs at Northwood University, Midland, Michigan USA where she played a pivotal role in shaping the institution’s global footprint. Mamiko had spearheaded the identification and development of International Program Centers, launching degree programs worldwide, and fostering partnerships to promote the principles of the free market and entrepreneurship. Mamiko successfully oversaw programs in multiple countries, including China, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Switzerland, and the United Arab Emirates, and laid foundations for expansion into France, Ghana, Ireland, United Kingdom, Japan, and Mexico.

Beyond her institutional responsibilities, Mamiko has been a tireless advocate for global education, leading award-winning study abroad initiatives and collaborating with organizations like the Young Presidents’ Organization & World Presidents’ Organization (YPO-WPO) and The Institute for Economic Empowerment of Women working with female entrepreneurs in Afghanistan and Rwanda. Recognized for her contributions, Mamiko has received prestigious awards such as the Global Impact Award in 2022 from Young People Travel Global Edge and the International Distinguished Fellowship Award in 2023 from African Women Leadership Academy. And in August 2024, she was inducted into Marquis Who’s Who. Actively engaged in various leadership roles, she serves on the executive board for MI ACE Women’s Network, Accra Business School (Ghana), Award for Training and Higher Education (UK), Rotary Midland Morning Club (USA), International Institute of Management and Technology (India) and City Education (Ireland).
