What does your city have to offer a potential partner city?
Trostyanets is the business center of the Sumy region of Ukraine, which is the economic and cultural center of the southern part of the region and has a strong industrial potential formed on the basis of a favorable geographical location and developed transport links. The settlement on the site of Trostyanets was founded in the first half of the XVII century.
The city maintains active cooperation with international funds and organizations. Currently, there are very few cities in Ukraine that can prepare project applications for tenders announced by the European Union. Trostyanets is taking a lesson from this and hopes for significant support from the EU. The city also has partnerships with cities in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Germany.
