Fall 2018 Adventure in Carunchio, Italy

Judy Thompson of Saluda, North Carolina is currently organizing the annual 20-member trip to their hill town sister city of Carunchio, Italy. Carunchio is located east of Rome, and is a 35-minute car ride west of the Adriatic Sea. The village dates back to 1000 AD and is listed as one of “100 Most Beautiful Villages in Italy”. During their week long stay, visitors will reside at a 1700s refurbished palace and cooking school. Currently, there are four remaining rooms in the Palace due to cancellations
During their stay, the group will have a private tour of Ostia Antica, a large archaeological site outside of Rome. There are also planned vineyard tours as well as a group rooftop dinner to conclude the trip. All group members will fly in and out of Rome.
