Amir Reisman – Director of Israel Northern Training Centers of the Israel Trauma Coalition (ITC)

Major (reserves) Amir Reisman is the Director of Israel Northern Training Centers of the Israel Trauma Coalition (ITC), a collaborative network of over forty organizations committed to providing Direct Care, Professional Training, Community-wide Interventions and emergency preparedness.

Amir was born and raised in Israel north at Kiryat Tivon, and served in the IDF as an Army Organizational Psychologist of infantry forces deployed in Lebanon. Amir holds BA in Psychology and Education from Haifa University, and Msc. In Organizational Behavior from the Recanati School of Management, at the Tel-Aviv University.

Amir serves as an Officer for Civilian Behavior at the IDF Home Front Command (Reserve duty) since 1999, and was actively involved in number of Search and Rescue response events in Israel.

Amir is a senior Emergency Preparedness & Resilience Expert, and has vast experience heading the work in these fields with Governmental offices, Municipalities, NGOs and more. Amir is the writer of ‘Community Resilience at Welfare Institutions’, published by the Ministry of Welfare at 2015, of an Emergency Portfolio for WIZO Educational Organization at 2016, of WIZO Emergency preparedness model and ENOSH emergency protocol at 2018. Amir Also participated and headed ITC professional delegations to the Philippines, supporting the country after Yolanda Typhoon disaster.

Amir is married and has two children.
