David coronado

David A. Coronado, AICP, CNU-A, is the Director of International Bridges for the City of El Paso. In overseeing the City’s three ports of entry, he works extensively with US Customs and Border Patrol, Mexican Customs, and a variety of state and federal agencies in both the US and Mexico to improve the systems that facilitate trade and the movement of people and vehicles across the border. Prior to this he worked as the City Development Program Manager at the City overseeing the Zoning, Subdivisions, and Long-Range sections of the Planning Division.

Before joining the City of El Paso, he served as the Labor Market Analyst and Policy Fellow at the Workforce Development Board and at the Institute for Policy and Economic Development (IPED) at the University of Texas at El Paso, respectively.

His previous work extends from input-output based economic impact analysis, survey research, city planning and land use studies, urban design, city re-districting plans, capital projects and transportation planning.

He holds a BBA in Economics and Finance and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Texas at El Paso.
