Dimash Kudaibergen

Dimash Kudaibergen is a Kazakh singer and songwriter. He is university trained in classical as well as contemporary music, and possesses an exceptionally wide vocal range. Truly an international artist, he has performed songs in twelve different languages.

Dimash has gained significant popularity in Kazakhstan and other post-Soviet countries in 2015 upon becoming the Grand Prix winner of Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk, Belarus. He rose to fame in China with his participation as a “wildcard competitor” in Hunan TV’s “Singer 2017”.

He currently has two albums and several selected singles, including his most recent pieces “I Miss You” and “Qairan Elim (“Oh, My Holy Land”).

Dimash has represented his country and his people all over the world, and Kazakhstan has much to be proud of because of this. As his country’s unofficial global ambassador, many consider him a national treasure. In 2020 alone, he was the first ever artist to premiere an all-Kazakh song on USA MTV’s YT Streaming Channel, and was named Hotshot of the Year. He also received the “Pop Concert of the Year” Award for the solo concert “Arnau” by the Annual Ticketon Awards in the field of Culture, Art and Sports, in Almaty, Kazakhstan. He was named the Cultural Figure of the Year by the National People’s Favorite Awards, in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, and also received the award of being the Best Male Singer of the Year by JSTYLE China Attitude Trend Setting Awards in Pingyao, China.
