As the Director of Operations for Sister Cities International, Ms. Carter strives to improve organizational effectiveness, oversees the day-to-day operations, and promotes a strong sense of unity and pride in the organization and its mission through collaboration with key leadership and stakeholders.

Ms. Carter brings 15+ years of experience in driving innovation, process improvement, project management, research, event planning, and marketing for government organizations and Fortune 100 companies in the tourism, management consulting, national parks, and amusement parks industries.

Ms. Carter earned a MAS in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management from Lincoln University in Christchurch, New Zealand, a BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi, and a Project Management Certificate from The University of Texas at Austin.

Kerri supports the Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep (NILMDTS) organization, is a twin, loves learning history, is a world traveler, and has been to almost all U.S. states and territories.
