Sister Cities International (SCI) has partnered with Japan Airlines and DCM Travel for airline ticketing and support for the 2025 U.S.-Japan Sister Cities Summit.
Japan Airlines has given SCI and exclusive discount on Japan Airlines & codeshare flights (applicable published fare rules apply) up to 13% discount depending on departure city. Discounts on Japan Airlines are only available through DCM Travel for air travel from September 1-30, 2025.
Benefits of using DCM Travel:
Participants are free to choose preferred airlines, flight schedules, class of service preferences and will provide DCM Travel with a credit card for all flights and fees.
SCI would like to highlight Japan Airlines flight 069, which is non-stop from Los Angeles (LAX) to Kansai International Airport (KIX), which departs LAX daily at 2:25pm. The return flight (KIX to LAX) departs daily at 5:55pm and arrives in Los Angeles at noon. Flying into KIX is preferred as it is only a 6-minute train ride to the Star Gate Hotel, the Summit host venue, in Izumisano City. Flying into Tokyo (Narita or Handa airports) is also possible, but please note that Tokyo is a 4-5 hour bullet train ride, or a 90-minute flight, away from Izumisano.
