St. Charles, Missouri and Ludwigsburg, Germany are celebrating 30 years of their Sister Cities relationship after their establishment in 1996. The St. Charles Sister Cities Program fosters mutual understanding, friendship, and goodwill through educational, cultural, business, and civic exchanges. Over the past three decades, the partnership has facilitated home-stay experiences for more than 3,000 high school students while expanding collaborations through initiatives such as brewer and firefighter exchanges. Through these enduring connections, St. Charles and Ludwigsburg have strengthened international friendships and created lasting opportunities for cultural exchange.
