Union Pacific Corporation Receives the 2018 Sister Cities International Citizen Diplomacy Corporate Responsibility Award
Union Pacific Corporation has been nominated to receive the 2018 Sister Cities International Citizen Diplomacy Corporate Responsibility Award on behalf of the Board of Directors and Sister Cities International (SCI) Network Senior Leadership and Management Team.
Each year, the SCI Senior Leadership and Management Team juries corporate partners nominated by field leaders from our city membership. Union Pacific Corporation was recommended by the Omaha Sister City Organization in acknowledgement of their longstanding partnership throughout the greater Nebraska Sister City state-wide community and, in particular, for their recent support of the Annual Omaha Sister City Gala hosting of Second Lady Karen Pence. The City of San Antonio Tricentennial Committee was also supportive of the nomination.
Union Pacific Corporation will receive the Citizen Diplomacy Corporate Responsibility Award at the 2018 Sister Cities International Annual Conference next week, taking place in Aurora, Colorado. Scott Moore, the Senior Vice President of Corporate Relations and Chief Administrative Officer, will accept the award on behalf of Union Pacific Corporation.
Sister Cities International values Union Pacific Corporation’s social responsibility commitment to support our global citizen diplomacy network movement work which is more critical now than ever in advancing the cause of world peace.
