As the Membership Coordinator for Sister Cities International, Ms. Manuel is driven to provide excellent client care, while working to grow and develop its membership community.

Ms. Manuel brings more than 10 years of experience in nonprofit management with a focus on membership and development. Her background also includes roles in marketing and event management.

Ms. Manuel grew up in the Washington, DC area and graduated from Marymount University with a B.A. in Psychology with a focus on Human Services. She has also completed graduate coursework in Social Policy at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Ms. Manuel is passionate about a variety of causes and has volunteered in crisis intervention, rehabilitation, community policing, and community building through fundraising and speaking engagements. She loves to travel, has been to all 48 contiguous states, and looks forward to future international travel. She has a strong interest in health and fitness, enjoys playing the piano, and explores the outdoors.
