I am a native born in Venezuela. My French father and German mother fled to Venezuela for the safety of the family.
I have lived abroad in several different countries and speak five languages fluently. I was appointed to the board of Sister Cities Oklahoma City three years ago and serve as secretary. I have helped to coordinate our multiple events. When there is a need in Sister Cities, I always volunteer.
Through my Sister Cities relationship, I was elected to the Oklahoma Governor’s International Team.
Personal Statement
With my diverse background, I offer a greater understanding and prospective on world events. I have seen the struggles that people living in different countries experience.
With that frame of reference, I have a greater appreciation for citizen diplomacy. I have always promoted peace through mutual respect and understanding. I will use my multicultural experiences to help the board.
