Prince Kwame Kludjeson is the founder and the President Chair of the Africa
Global Sister Cities Foundation [AGCSF].
Through his tireless efforts in the United States, Ghana and across Africa, he has
built AGCSF into a major force for the Sister Cities Movement and the promotion
of Sustainable Economic Development in Ghana and Africa.
In May 2008, he received a charter certification from Sister Cities International
during the grand launch of the AGCSF Africa Conference in Accra-Ghana which
was in attended by SCI Executive Administration & Management staff led by the
then Chairman of the board, Hon. Brad Cole & then President & CEO, Patrick
Madden and the current incoming chairman of SCI, Hon. Carol Robertson Lopez.
In 2019, under the Presidency of Patrick Madden, Sister Cities International
worked closely with Prince Kwame Kludjeson & its Africa Global Sister Cities
Foundation of Accra-Ghana, to implement a $7.5 million Dollar Bill & Melinda
Gates Foundation Grant Award program in helping address Urban Poverty
Alleviations and Development issues in African Cities. As the President Chair of
AGCSF and the Africa territorial representative of Sister Cities International, he
plays major role in promoting peace and development through Citizen Diplomacy.
Among other high profile achievements and his passion for excellence through international cooperation, he coordinated the government of the State of Arkansas, USA with the Secretary of State Hon. Mark Martin and his deputy Hon. Joseph Wood, to visit Ghana having presented a convincing motion to the Arkansas Municipal League Executive Assembly to partner Ghana Municipal Assemblies for Sister Cities partnership.
As a result, he hosted the President of Arkansas Municipal League with his Vice in Ghana on a Diplomatic Collaboration. His efforts culminated in signing the Sister State Protocol agreement between the Volta Region of Ghana and the Delta Region of the United States to collaborate in promoting peace and creating synergies for accelerated Economic Development.
He has initiated and played a pivotal role in linking Arkansas Municipal League of USA with the National Association of Local Authorities of Ghana who signed a protocol MOU in 2015 to undertake an exchange program between the various Municipalities within Ghana and the Delta Region of the United States in the areas of Governance and Diplomacy to enhance Economic Development and to promote knowledge transfer.
Through his Sister Cities Global Citizenship Diplomacy practices, initiative and recommendations, Former President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama established and appointed the first ever Consulate General of Ghana to the Arkansas, Delta Region of the United State of America in the Person of Hon. Sherman Banks, former President Emeritus of Sister Cities International.

Through his instrumentality, the Government of Ghana has been very supportive to the course of the Sister Cities partnerships and last year 2019, over twenty (20) Mayors and elected Local Government leaders from Ghana came to Houston,Texas and participated in the Sister Cities Annual Conference.
Through his Africa Global Sister Cities organization, he look forward to continue working with Sister Cities International, (Africa Region) to create stronger partnerships and establish more sister cities in the moving forward of the Sister Cities Citizen Diplomacy agenda.
